The Golden Rule:

Make the Turn!!! Running into the grass in a lefthander will one day put you into a tree or guardrail.
The MSSR absolutely never condones racing on public roads.

Always stay right of the double yellow in a turn. Imagine the other side as grass or gravel and if you go out there you'll lay it down. That's a better scenario than it would be if there were cars coming the opposite direction. If you can’t keep it in your lane, you need to slow down.

Whether you ride alone or with the club, alternate your route from week to week. You might be trying to memorize your favorite roads as though they were part of a racetrack, but the residents of these roads will catch on and arrange for a blue and white welcoming committee.
